BRETT KENT

Barrister-at-Law

LLB (Hons I) M Phil (Law)

Brett practises widely and has represented clients in family law, criminal law, and civil (eg contract, negligence, inquests, administrative law) cases in courts and tribunals across NSW and also Queensland.

Brett provides independent and fearless advice and representation. He offers clients a realistic assessment, strives for the best presentation of their case, and advocates persuasively on their behalf. Brett accepts briefs only through solicitors and not directly from clients.

Graduating with first class honours in law from Macquarie University in 1995, Brett was admitted to practice as a solicitor in 1996 and worked in government and private practice. He has also taught law at Macquarie University. Brett went to the Bar in 2011 and since mid 2012 has been located in the Central Coast of NSW.

Brett has a long association with the NSW Central Coast and enjoys being part of the community. Above all, he provides a strong and ethical voice for those in need. Brett is a member of the NSW Bar Association and has Liability limited by a scheme approved under Professional Standards Legislation.
